Plant more
- Plant more cool season crops. (Lettuce, Radishes)
- Plant two-year-old asparagus and rhubarb from one gallon pots. Warn viewers of the danger of killing frost on tender plants as our average last killing frost is in the middle of May.
Tip of the week:
When you plant asparagus, lay the roots in a spacious trench 3 or 4 inches deep and cover the crown and roots with an inch or so of soil. As the asparagus grows in the next few weeks, gradually add soil to the trench until the trench is full.
